Education

Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University - BS, Biological Sciences

Experience

I graduated from Virginia Tech, where I earned my bachelor's degree in biological sciences. Eventually, I would love to go to medical school. I have experience in working with my peers and other students to help them learn new material and I am pleased to be able to continue offering my services as a tutor. When it comes to tutoring, I have a laid-back approach and have a lot in common with many of my students, which makes me especially relatable. I provide the information needed to help students master subjects using their own thinking skills and strategies. I offer basic math tutoring for all age levels, ranging from kindergarteners to seniors in high school. I also tutor math at advanced and college levels. I especially enjoy tutoring students in algebra. I also offer help with biology, chemistry, medicine, medical terminology, social sciences, probability, and AP Psychology and Genetics. In my free time, I like to run, play soccer, and lift weights. I also play the piano, guitar, and video games.
