The Spanish language and culture has taught me a number of things, including vulnerability, compassion, and empathy. The language has allowed me to connect with other people personally. It is an instrument that gives us a look into another kind of life. I want my students to know that the language has no limits! I am looking forward to sharing my love of Spanish with as many new students as possible. I can tutor from beginner Spanish to advanced. I fell in love with the language and pursued a double major in Hispanic Studies and Psychology. I spent a semester abroad in Argentina and that is when my language skills really took off. During my senior year of college, I was a Teacher's Assistant for the Hispanic Studies Department. I was able to make lesson plans and see them through weekly for an Intermediate Spanish course. Then, after I graduated, I took a temporary teaching position in Lima, Peru. The position as an English professor allowed me to spend time with native Spanish speakers daily.
