Education

Experience

For the past two decades, I have served as a consultant to government officials and business leaders with regard to public policy issues. Analysis of these issues requires both mathematical precision and solid judgment. My role is to determine likelihoods based on quantitative analysis and then determine how best to execute strategies in order to maximize benefit to the community or organization. When tutoring students in Algebra, I first focus on the fundamentals, understanding that a solid grasp of the basics will allow the student to apply those concepts to more complex problems. I also work with students preparing for the ACT, SAT, and GRE. When I'm not pursuing one of these two professions, I enjoy speed solving crossword puzzles, good jazz, good food, and good soccer.
